Workplace wellbeing action grid

This grid provides a structure for bringing together insight gathered from results from staff surveys to start to develop an action plan.

It can be difficult to know where to start so:

  • look at what you already do
  • build on your strengths
  • plan to cover your weaknesses

NICE recommends adopting a tiered approach to mental wellbeing in the workplace:

  1. use organisational-level approaches as the foundation for good mental wellbeing
  2. build on these with individual approaches
  3. deliver targeted approaches, for example working directly with employees who have or are at risk of poor mental health.

Target resources on areas where the impact on staff wellbeing is likely to be greatest.
