Arts and wellbeing: review of the social value of place-based arts interventions

Arts and wellbeing: review of the social value of place-based arts interventions

This report summarises our project to understand wellbeing value of place-based arts and culture interventions, cultural events and mega events.

It provides findings, as well as what was observed through the process of searches, analysis and narrative summarisation.

This work supports those funding and delivering arts and culture interventions to maximise wellbeing impacts.

We worked with the Institute for Cultural Capital (ICC), funded by Spirit of 2012 and the University of Warwick/Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). The report was authored by Rafaela Neiva Ganga, Laura Davies and Kerry Wilson.

The report is accompanied by a blog and summary briefing.
